The "Dead Spot" shot is sought after by golfers looking for hi-performance wedge clubs. The Akira new APW wedges make it possible to perform such control shots with relative ease. Furthermore, the grooves made by CNC engraving machine enables the "Dead Spot" shots on either full shots or approach shots.
We would strongly recommend golfers to use our APW low bounce wedge who would make shot by cutting the turf very little or by open face. The most important area on a wedge club should be a shape of the hosel. Akira has cared about details and designed to complete the shape from the face to the hosel with the finish giving a sense of relief. APW forged wedges do not give players any strange feeling when players address square or open against the target. Furthermore, through the repeat prior tests, we have concluded that the ball by the wedge shot must not return to the target through increase of spinning, but the ball by a wedge shot should stop on dead spot of the target.
