PowerBilt Citation Forged Irons
Features:In 1932, Olin Dutra used our first generation of forged irons to
outplay the great Walter Hagen and win the PGA Championship. PowerBilt's
tradition of excellence continued as our clubs went on to win seven more majors
plus 100+ PGA and worldwide events.
In 2003, we called upon all of our experience and technological expertise to
create tour-quality forged irons that rival any forged product sold in pro shops
today - but retail for several hundred dollars less.
Classic forged irons were notoriously hard to hit - the slightest miscalculation
could result in disaster. Our new generation of forged irons overcame this
problem by using a modified cavity back on the 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. For purity in
feel and control the short irons (7,8,9,PW,GW,SW,LW) are forged muscle backs.
Your ability to work the ball from left to right is enhanced because the center
of gravity is in the exact geometric center of the clubface. |
