The head od the new TPS Fairway Wood is produced from super-premium TVC beta titanium - the highest strength to weight ratio available. This, combined with the breakthrough "Fiberized Forging" manufacturering method, allowed us to make the wall stronger.
Each piece of titanium is placed in forging dies and hammered multiple times, creating a very tight, very dense grain structure. Compared to typical forged pieces, Fiberized Forged pieces, have a higher yield strength, tensile strength and greater durability. But the walls are not just stronger - they are thinner. "Thinner walls allowed us to redistribute weight - moving it to the perimeter by employing tungsten weights."
TPS is "maxed out." Maximum cc + Maximum COR (.830) = Maximum Distance and Accuracy. But it won't max out your credit card.
