Designed for better players, the CB4 Tour hybrid has a deeper face and higher center of gravity designed to produce a more penetrating ball flight. In addition, the smaller head size and added face progression combine to allow for greater workability. The result is that players will see great results from the tee, fairway, rough, and even sand.
This tour-caliber hybrid combines a maraging steel cupped face with a hyper-steel body. The stronger maraging steel allows for a thinner face that has greater malleability for enhanced feel and distance. Completely integrated with the head design, the CB4's new Boomerang face technology features v-shaped boomerangs which allow engineers to vary the thickness of the face. The result of this technology is outstanding distance and control, even on off-center contact.
Exceptional performance also comes courtesy of the Aldila RIP Sigma 80 Series hybrid shaft. One of the most popular shafts on Tour, RIP technology weaves inner 45-degree angle graphite plies on the outside and inside of the shaft tip. This increases hoop stiffness and creates lower torque, increased stability, and exceptional tip stiffness control.
