NEW for 2010 and in the bag of Colin Montgomerie, the 460cc Nanospeed 3i driver features an ultra-light carbon crown that fundamentally alters the weight distribution within the clubhead, increasing the launch angle and reducing spin for longer carry and increased roll. The club face has been lengthened at both the toe and heel to generate a higher COR, while the face thickness has been varied to ensure maximum ball speed from all points on the face. By combining Yonex's exclusive Isometric Face with Muscle Power Face technology, the Nanospeed 3i driver also boasts a significantly enlarged sweet-spot to deliver unmatched repulsion power even with off-center shots.The Aeropentagon Shape enhances distance and accuracy by reducing air resistance around the head for greater stability and speed throughout the swing.

Aero Pentagon Head Shape
The Aero Pentagon head shape minimizes air resistance around the clubhead during the swing, allowing for increased clubhead speed and a more consistent swing path resulting in longer distance and better ball dispersion. This new head shape also allows for weight to be distributed to the far corners of the clubhead, increasing the MOI by reducing both horizontal and vertical clubhead twisting on all mis-hits.
The lightweight fullerence C60 carbon graphite crown allows vital weight to be re-positioned lower and deeper within the clubhead, optimizing the CG for an ideal launch angle and maximum distance.

Dual Nanoscience Technology
By combining the Dual Nanoscience technologies of Elastic Ti and Cup Stack Nanotubes, the new Nanospeed 70+™ graphite shaft has been engineered to maximize impact speeds for explosive play.
Cup Stack Carbon Nanotubes bind graphite fibers closer together to increase strength and resiliency. Positioned at the tip end of the shaft, Cup Stack Carbon Nanotubes provide greater energy transfer further increasing impact speed.
The Elastic Ti positioned at the kick-point of the Nanospeed 70+™ shaft provides increased clubhead acceleration by forcing the shaft to "snap back" to its original position much faster generating unmatched clubhead speed through impact.
The thinner walls of the Centrifugal Force System (CFS) graphite construction shaft allow vital weight to be positioned at the tip end of the shaft to generate greater clubhead acceleration at the point of impact.

Centrifugal Force System (CFS) further increases club head speed by using the most powerful force on earth to help all golfers: GRAVITY.
