Our most advanced driver yet – the XCG-3 is the world's first combo-brazed titanium, tungsten and carbon driver.
In a world where innovation is often restrained by compromise and challenges, the new XCG-3 driver emerges as a ground-breaking manufacturing marvel.
Ingenious in design, the XCG-3 driver combines tungsten sole weights, a titanium body, and an amorphous carbon crown. In Exotics tradition, the components feature interlocking channels that are chemically brazed and vacuum heat-cured for permanent bonding without welding. The result is a more pure energy transfer for longer, more powerful drives.
The power plant for this workhorse is a 460cc, aerospace titanium body and cup face. The XCG-3’s face
incorporates Exotics variable face thickness technology to deliver an explosive rebound from anywhere on the face. Performance-enhancing details exist even out of sight. Our X-contour face technology generates faster launch speed.. The inner O-ring allows the outer edges of the face to be made thinner for a larger sweet spot, greater ball speed and less variation between center and off-center hits.
Advancements in the XCG-3’s crown have been developed through the use of amorphous carbon; a lighter, stronger version of carbon materials not previously used in golf. This new carbon provides for a thinner crown allowing even more weight to be positioned in the sole in the form of tungsten weights. With a total mass of 28-grams, the weights create the lowest, deepest center of gravity of any Exotics driver yet. The result is a higher moment of inertia, less club head twisting and score-saving forgiveness.
