Williams Golf MR Gold Series Hybrid 2016
Williams Golf MR Gold Series Hybrid 2016
Williams Golf MR Gold Series Hybrid
Engineered to equip golfers with the necessary tools to play in all course conditions, the MR Hybrids interior weight placement of each clubhead is varied progressively, minimizing spin and promoting better trajectory and forgiveness for each head loft. Integrating the advanced Stainless Steel HT 1770, the club face is built separately to the crown for better energy transfer at impact and greater ball speed. The characteristic Williams' aerodynamic features included are designed to reduce drag and increase club head speed at impact while providing stability and control for all level golfers.
The Gold Series was created to fulfill the golfers looking for the ultimate standards in golf equipment. With its ion plated and ultra-light weight Fujikura shafts (built to Japanese specs) and premium customized Iomic grips, the Gold series represents the perfect combination of technology and lifestyle for the most luxurious golfers. Incorporating all the evolved aerodynamic features of its big brother, the MR Driver: Trip, Winglet, Diffuser and the Venturi Channel, the MR Hybrid is built to facilitate ball launch off the turf and stabilize off-center hits with its strategically placed weights on the perimeter and sole of the head.
The Trip redirects airflow over the crown of the driver to minimize the surface area of the crown that is affected by airflow contact, which is important in the reduction of drag.
The Winglets manage and control the air flowing around the heal and toe section of the driver, creating a more consistent and stable path throughout the downswing and impact.
The Diffuser is a key component in diffusing and controlling the air the flows across the soleplate of the driver, combining with the effectiveness of the Trip, to minimize the wake and density of airflow off the rear of the driver creating a significant reduction in drag.
